Privacy policy
Effective date: July 2026. This is a personal professional site operated by Bruce Tyndall.
What this site collects
- Contact information you send. If you email me or use the contact form, I receive whatever you include, typically your name, email address, and message. I use it only to reply and conduct the conversation you started.
- Analytics. When analytics are allowed, Google Analytics collects standard aggregate usage data such as pages viewed, broad location, device type, and approved interaction events. Google Analytics remains disabled until you choose to allow it. No analytics data is sold or used here to create advertising profiles.
- Contextual personalization. The site may classify the current landing path, campaign category, broad referrer family, and broad region into a small approved set of intent signals. Those categories can select an already-approved hero message. Raw referrer URLs, raw campaign terms, IP addresses, and literal search queries are not sent to the language model or stored in the personalization cache.
What this site does not do
- No selling or renting of personal information.
- No marketing email lists; you will not be subscribed to anything by contacting me.
- No third-party advertising trackers.
- No per-visitor AI profile and no model-authored career or performance claims.
Retention and your choices
Correspondence is retained as ordinary business email. If you want an exchange deleted, ask and I’ll delete it. You can browse this site without submitting any personal information. The personalization cache is keyed only by bounded categories shared by many visitors, not by a person or device. Browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track disable contextual personalization.
